Most manufacturing problems are designed into the part. We have found that with our skilled involvement at the beginning of the project, guiding the respective specialists we can get the part to market in a cost effective manner, in as short a time as possible.
Typically we work to fixed scope, fixed cost projects, where you know the timeline and cost upfront. The alternative, late, over budget projects, with a mediocre outcome is simply not acceptable.
At BCTINT Limited, the design phase is a collaborative process that calls upon the skills of our experts in industrial design, mechanical design, and manufacturing engineering.
The design phase typically includes, initial Consultation / Brainstorming / Preliminary sketches, review of color management practices and selection, Design for Manufacture (DFM), material selection, detailed 3D and 2D model / drawing creation.
The key to this phase is the completion of detailed and manufacturable piece part specifications and critical to quality documents as required.
